Mel Stern is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree and started his career in teaching in Southeastern Michigan.

In the mid 60's Mel Stern became a Licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker and embarked upon a career in commercial, industrial and investment real estate brokering. Mr. Stern began raising cash equities, creating different methods of financing for the sale of difficult-to-sell properties, syndicating investment properties, and then brought together a management team to oversee the properties he procured. To date he has personally closed over $100 Million Dollars in real estate and business sales.

In the early 1980's, Mr. Stern became interested in a business opportunity and invested in an auto repair franchise business. Within sixty months he developed the franchise into twenty-eight stores, and thereafter sold the ownership in the business to a national auto service chain.

Mel Stern began his affiliation with a major M&A firm in 1992, a mid-market merger and acquisition business, and operates their Midwest office within the same facility from which Mel Stern operates his real estate brokerage company. The companies unique approach to the marketing of businesses gives it a creditable edge to do more business than some of the larger marketing companies.

Mr. Stern's positive experience in the merger and acquisition field has been the marketing of difficult transactions and the financing of ongoing businesses. His forte in the merger and acquisition business is the successful matching of synergistic buyers and venture capitalist with specific situations. He has a reputation within the community of maintaining a high level of business ethics resulting in significant success within the business community.
